This is an early storyboard drawing of Clyde P. Chickadee, Aviator Extraordinaire.
Clyde is the narrator of my upcoming 17-miunte animated short, The Flying Moose.
The chickadee is the official state bird of Maine, and the moose, as in The Flying ‘MOOSE,’ is the official state animal of Maine — Ayuh!
p.s. Clyde’s middle initial “P” stands for Percival, which like Clyde, is a very Maine [Mainah] name. It was also chosen because it’s close in sound to persevere, which is the underlying theme/moral of the cartoon.
